It often arises that people have to edit MPEG files. This is a fairly difficult process in general but I have discovered a way to do it with MPEG Video Editor Mac. MPEG files are generated by EyeTV, ReplayTV, TiVo, and other TV capture devices. In general, when people want to edit one, people are not so much interested in doing anything especially fancy. They just want to clip out the adverts and make a VideoCD or one of the related formats such as SVCD or CVD. There isn't a good MPEG editor available for the Mac yet, but with a little trickery you can get MPG Video Editor for Mac to perform this work for you.

This simple to use Mac MPEG Video Editor tool has full support for both MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 formats. Trim/cut/split/clip your large MPEG files to small ones by taking out the useless clips, merge/join/combine separate video clips into a single and cohere one, crop video file size to remove the black sides in the frame or adjust the video file size to be adaptable with your portable devices, you are also available to apply some special rendering effects like old file, gray, emboss to your video.
